  1. Washed my TA this morning. And applied some Brilliant Glaze after. Love that stuff, really makes the metallic pop in my paint. So, I used detail spray while drying the car for the first time today. I noticed as I was spraying the water started falling off the car. Which, I though was kinda cool. I think i used too much though. I noticed some streaking on my Windows. I buffed it right off no problem though. However, if there are streaks on the Windows, it's on the paint too. You just can't see it because of the color of my car. I will say, my car looked a little shinier than usual after using the detail spray while drying. Smelled nice too. If there are streaks on the paint from the detail spray. Can I just buff with a single soft towel or double soft?? I was in the direct sunlight too. There's no way around that for me unfortunately.
  2. I haven't tried the G&G yet, I want to though. I use the Buttery Wax on my DD and family member cars. I recently tried the Paint Sealant a couple months ago on a fender of my DD. It's a black car, and no matter how dirty it is. The fender I applied it to is always brighter and cleaner looking than the other panels. It doesn't shed water like it use to but, it's still there. I use the Brilliant Glaze on my TA when I'm about to go to the track of a meet. It gives a freshly waxed look, I personally love it.
  3. That looks great. My TA is also Pewter. Just doesn't pop like red or SOM.
  4. I like that wax a lot as well. After I got the hang of it anyway. Still have a little trouble removing. Maybe I'm just not letting it setup long enough. Viper looks killer!
  5. Thanks for the tips guys. I really appreciate it!
  6. I tried an extra spray of detail spray once and it made a huge mess lol. I'll try a lower setting, thanksZ
  7. Have any of you guys/gals used Adams Correction Polish outside in high temps and humidity? Surely I'm not the only one. I'm extremely new to paint correction and polishing, like this week new lol. It was probably 85-88 degrees out yesterday and very humid. I was using the Rupes 15 Mark 2, orange foam cutting pad and the correction polish. I used 3 medium sized dots and a shot of detail spray. I spread the product out on setting 1, then went to 5 for the correction process. I could only get 3 good passes and the polish would dry up. And I had to use detail spray to remove it from the paint. Do I need to drop my setting to 4 instead of 5, since it's so hot outside? Or is this polish not meant to be used in hot and humid conditions? I got great results still, it was just a little aggravating to use. It could also be my rookie status using a polisher. It's literally my first time.
  8. Hello all. New guy here from Kentucky. Thought I'd go ahead and join the forums. Looks like a good place for some knowledge.
