Quick question on the DS. I bought some last week at local shop in San Diego. I have not used it yet and the color of the spray is almost a salmon (orangish) color. The DS spray I just received yesterday in my shipment from Adam's is a pepto pink color. What color should it be? Should I have any concern? I emailed Rob at Adam's and am waiting for a reply.

Too funny... I just asked my wife last night if we had any Woolite in the house. She could not understand why the MF towels could not be washed with other towels or why I had to hang them to air dry. I just asked her to please never wash them and that I will take care of them myself.

Hey guys, I really like to "try" and take care of my cars (obviously I just switched to Adams!) but I have a lot of learning to do. Unfortunately, I do not always have the time to personally hand wash my car. I will admit I am guilty of taking my Yukon (silver) to my local car wash (hand wash only) but have vowed to never take the new Benz (black) to a car wash. I hope to stop taking the Yukon as well but it takes too long to wash myself. I realize a touchless car wash might use recycled water and harsh detergents but sometimes I really have no choice. Is a weekly touchless wash really that bad if you have no time and protect the paint with Adam's products after? Friends and family always claim how nice my cars look cause I at least take them home from the car wash, park it in the garage and finish detailing (previously with inferior products). Compared to you guys... my cars would look like crap but hopefully Adam's products will change all that. I just don't see how you guys have time to keep your cars looking so great as I would spend all day every Sat\Sun cleaning my cars and maintaining my yard and would never see my family.

GerryC... thanks that is exactly the info I was looking for! I'll hold off using detail spray and MF towel (quick clean) on the week the wife drives. We share both cars since both are leased and I drive to far to only drive one car. A few minutes ago I just bought 4 blue MF towels, 2 blue MF applicator pads, and 2 tire sponges. I have chrome 20s on the Yukon so the the VRT will be great. The MB has the 18" AMG 5 spoke alloy wheels. Is VRT ok to use on alloy? Thanks!

I want to get better at detailing my own cars and maybe even do it on the side or help friends... I take good care of my cars but want to get better. Can anyone please recommend a quick general guide to go by for Adam's products. I mostly need a guide on when and how often to use the brilliant spray glaze and buttery wax. I watched some of the vids and if I should just go by that then I will. I just bought the detail spray, swirl\haze polish, VRT, buttery wax, and brilliant spray glaze. The shop I bought the Adam's supplies at was out of MF towels so how many should I order to get started? I guess I need some revive polish as well. My new black Benz and Yukon are garaged at home and I use under ground parking at work. Most miles during the week are on the highway (80 miles per day) and some weekend cruising. Do you guys really wipe down a dusty car with the detail spray and MF towel in between washes? My wife has to park outside at work and there are a lot of trees but she does not have to park directly under them. Although, she does get the little yellow dusty type spots (sap?) all over the car everyday. Thanks for the help... this forum is great!

Just leased new '09 MB C300 Sport (black\black) and need to keep it looking great... so I figured now is the perfect time to start using Adams.
