  1. I ended up just using my fireman's nozzle with some carpet/upholstery cleaner. Worked just fine. Didnt think to try the white vinegar. But it got them clean just fine. took some time to dry out though.
  2. Awesome. Thanks everyone for the help. Just got all setup for a big wash day. I'll post my results.
  3. What if I was to say I don't have a pressure washer?
  4. I purchased some spare floor mats from a fellow G8 owner. I wanted a backup pair should something happen to mine. Well the guy who sold them lives up north and the mats are caked with salt and whatever other stuff they de-snow with. I already used CUC and the carpet brush to no avail. Being from SC, I've never encountered this stuff before and it's pretty stout. As you can see in the pics, it is caked around the edges of the mats and there are salt stains on carpet of the mat. I don't have a bissell or anything more powerful than a shopvac. Any suggestions?
  5. Yeah. However, the picture seems to be worse than than it is in person. It is not that easily distinguishable when looking at it.
  6. Not really. Up super close in direct sun, it is slightly lighter and the reflection might be less crisp than the surrounding panels. And there is one little dimple that wasn't there before. Overall I am really pleased with the job they did matching and painting the bumper and spoiler. I think these are only noticable to me, as I spend an inordinate amount of time with my face jammed up to the paint. Good to hear you're getting your's back.
  7. 60 days. Its like a prison sentence.
  8. No. The Machine Super Wax does need the 12 hour cure before putting anything else on. But I'm pretty sure APW does not need the over night cure. The detailing elite, is this correct?
  9. Put two more coats of APW on today. I had to tell myself that anymore than that would be inconsequential. I just love using it! Its awesome! Here's a couple more pics. I cant stop looking at her!
  10. Yeah. A little too...something. I just havent seen any I liked. I did however make the GXP rear diffuser switch. I didnt like the honeycomb. The less honeycomb to clean on this car the better.
  11. I wanted to do something different, but I dont like any of the holden ones I've seen. Are there more than just the VE and VE SS spoilers?
  12. Got my car back from the body shop on Friday (from the spoiler incident) Also, got my Adam's order on Friday. So I went to work today. Used Americana for the first time today. I absolutely loved it. Went on smooth, came off smooth. And left an unparalelled shine! Couldn't wax the newly painted panels and spoiler, but everything else got two coats of APW and a coat of BSG. Hood: Roof: Thanks for looking!
  13. Ah man.... I hate to see that. I'm sorry. I just got my car back today from having it repaired and repainted too due to some jerk who broke my spoiler. I was furious too. But Adam is totally right. It can be fixed, getting angry never helps anything. Yes you are entitled to be upset, just dont dwell.
  14. i thought about it, but they look a little ricey on the pontiac. Unless there are more than the ones I've seen on JHP's site.
