Had the same issue with the ceramic completely hazing my windows of my Tesla. Tried a few products with no luck. After reading the comments, on a whim I applied some Meguire's Plastx I had left over from an old headlight restore. Worked like a charm. I used the padded applicator that connects to my drill and it took it all off with little effort. Hope this helps because I was going crazy!

I will have to give that a try. It's annoying when driving into the sun!
Thanks, I will let you know how it goes!

I started the process on my SIM Camaro, wash, clay, paint correction, polish, surface prep then spray ceramic coating

Since this is my weekend car I usually hit it with a coat of brilliant glaze then Patriot wax.

    Anxious to see results

Post your pics when you're finished. I would love to see your results! Thanks!

Can't find ones with PS and HGG right now. But I posted some here with just PS. HGG just makes it pop that much more!

And here are a couple of a white Toureg with just HGG and no paint correction.

Trust me...PS and HGG is awesome for white paint!!!

This really looks great. I will have to reconsider applying the ceramic coating.

If you use the spray coating, in addition to steps @Ls1transamsaid, I'd recommend any paint correction necessary and Surface Prep vs. IPA. You're locking in any swirls, etc. under the coating otherwise. In other words, applying it is like applying a traditional coating, only easier.

But to be honest, I don't think coatings are the max shine level you can achieve, nor are waxes for your silver car. For you, I'd recommend Paint Sealant and HGG (every month or so). I have white and love the combo. Simple, straightforward method to great protection and awesome shine. Here's a bit more on why...

This is great input. I was under the impression that the ceramic coating was best for depth and shine? Would you be able to post a pic of your white ride? I have had quite a few white cars and they don't have the shine of dark colors unless the lighting is right. I am finding that this Camaro has the same characteristics. BTW, it is Arctic Blue Metallic. ☺️ Thanks!

You do not need to use strip wash before applying the Brillant Glaze. Just wash as normal and apply the Glaze. The Brillant Glaze will not build up like a wax can and is used to add a quick shine before a car show, cruise-in, etc. Do you have a polisher? Is this a daily driver? A light polish in the Spring would give the Camaro the best shine.

Thanks for the reply. I do have a Polisher and the car is in the garage most of the time. I can't wait to try the Glaze!

:welcome: Add Brilliant Glaze to your shopping cart. It’s great for some extra pop to the paint, and haze on the windows.  Get some Paint Sealant on the wheels or better yet ceramic coat them. The Adams vids are great resources along with the folks here.

Love the color! The fist time I saw the Arctic Blue in person was up on the assembly line when Chevy did the Fifty celebration at the Lansing plant in 2016. Touring the plant was such a cool experience. Now when I see that color that’s what I think of.

Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone!

My car has a one coat of wax on it. I put it on in August 2017, right after I bought it. Do need I to strip wash it before I apply the glaze? Actually, if anyone can offer a step by step from start to finish, I would appreciate it! I am looking for as much depth and shine with this color.

    Thanks again!
