  1. To my knowledge, unless it had been repainted prior to my F-I-L's purchase in 1998 , this is original paint from Bowling Green Which is Base/Clear.. NOT Single Stage
  2. My Father-in-laws 84 corvette ( base/clear) looks more pink than red.. is there anything I can try to do to bring the color back? I have both a orbital and high speed buffers, assortment of pads.. any particular Adams product to start with and see if it does anything? The underside of the gas door (open) is the correct color, to the left is the pink hue
  3. Makes Sense.. I have some Back to Black on hand I can try too. I did not know Adams offered a Black Trim restore product
  4. Here is my hood after a bit of cleaning trying some products I have on hand. The darker black (top) is what I am after and that is VRT, but once it dries a bit is goes back to almost what it was. Will in and out be better for this? Or something else. Working on getting an order together for today so any help appreciated
  5. yes thanks.. any tools? (Brushes etc. you suggest for those products?
  6. Hi all, been a long while since I posted, but I still use Adams products. I have gotten better at the exterior detailing, my interior is not together long enough to get too deep into that, I keep changing something here or there Now I want to work on detailing under the hood. So what are some suggestions on equipment and detailing products to use? Couple things.. car is a 1990 ZR-1 I would prefer not to spray water on the motor as if my valley drain is plugged my starter will get submerged need to get the surround plastic and such looking better as well as the underside of the hood here is a picture. the motor is powder coated so what would be best to use on that as well. THANKS
  7. Nope, no Carlisle this year No worries AJ.. I will start to work on it.. I need to learn it sometime
  8. Jason had the BBQ.. Jeff (Me) had the ZR-1 you never looked at..
  9. Correct I have not seen it released yet.. the 1+2 are lighter duty.. but this stuff rocks
  10. Sure, when I used the new HD polish, I sanded by hand first then applied and removed the polish by hand.. I am thinking a buffer would work too but i did not try it.. Unfortunately wheels are on hold, as I need tires for the wheels and they are not on the list of needs for my vette this year
  11. I think 46mm front and 32mm rear. I will have to check again
  12. I had been polishing 2 wheels I bought in Dec. I had one more to do. my original thread was here on Digital Corvettes I finished 2 rear wheels and had one wheel to do.. Well Adam offered to send me a new product he is working on for Metal polishing.. Anyway, Let the pictures speak for his product.. Before: After Acid Wash (Wire Wheel Wash) My wheels were too rough for just the polish after the wash, so i sanded with 2000 grit Next I used the New Polish.. here it is on the left.. applied directly after sanding.. (There still is a slight bit of pitting, but look much better) Done: Adam.. Thanks!!!! you saved me a lot of work.. I will Let Adam introduce what he has..
