Just wondering if there is any update on this Detail clinic yet?

I've looked on Zip's website to see what's up with this,

but haven't seen any mention of this happening...

  4. Very Good write-up Junkman !!!

I have been using the 2 bucket system for over a year but not with grit guards...

I had been using 2 washpads tho and rotated pads like so:

First, I'd soak both pads in the soapy water and grab one of them and start washing the car doing one panel and than put that pad in the rinse water bucket,

swish it around some and leave it in that bucket to soak more before going back in the soapy water bucket.

Secondly, I'd grab the other pad and wash another panel, than take the first pad and go back in the soapy bucket,

take the second pad to the rinse bucket and swish that one and leave it, than go back and grab pad one wash another panel and

continue that process of washing and rinsing the pads til I got the car done.

While this did help, I still got swirl marks...

I now have an ADAMS foam gun, 2 ADAMS buckets with gritguards and caddys on both, 2 ADAMS washpads, and will continue doing the

rotating swishing 2 pad/2 bucket system...

But now with the gritguards to help do an even better job fighting those nasty swirl marks.

  6. I was watching a Truck-U tv show, and did an engine compartment detailing and used the ADAM'S IN and OUT spray to dress the hoses add black plastics, and said you can get the stuff on this ADAMS website. So I checked it out but didn't buy anything til a few months ago. I liked everything I tried

Also a few months ago I was in an "ALL CHEVY SHOW" sponsored by the MARYLAND CAMARO CLUB with my Blue Monte. While walking around I saw an ADAMS tent set up with all the goodies for sale there. I talked with ADAMS dealer CARL DEL GALLO for awhile, and than he gave me his bus. card with his code on it to save 10% on this website.

So, now I hooked on this stuff... A kind of ADAMS-A-HOLIC or something like that...:willy:
