Why not use either our Ceramic Spray Coating or our new Graphene Ceramic Spray Coating?
It's easier to apply and it will out last any wax many times over.

I guess my response didn’t post. I think I will give this a shot, since ceramic seems to be everyone’s choice. I’ve not done ceramic myself, as I had the dealership coat my Scat Pack when I bought it. I know this isn’t the same as a legitimate correction and ceramic coat but do I need to use something like my buttery wax prior to using this spray? Or will this spray be ok since the car is only 4 months old and the paint isn’t blemished?

I haven’t posted in a while but my question is for winter upkeep. This is my work vehicle and not person Scat Pack so I have no desire to ceramic coat it. It’s a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee, silver in color. It’s pretty new and gets driven between 500 - 1200 miles per week. I used buttery wax on the car in the warm Atlanta weather, so I’m looking for the best wax for the winter. I would say we see winter temps from 30-70 with no rhyme or reason here. Thanks in advance For the help!

So a few good washes didn't work for this thing. I suppose it's time to order some clay and polish. All I'm going to need is the clay bar and revive polish? Do I need to get LPS as well?

I’m going to try the polish first and see how that works. If not, I’ll take it to the dealer and show them. Can I try polish without a clay? If not, is it ok to just clay that area then polish and wax or should I do the whole hood?
-
What is etching? If the hand wash doesn’t do anything then o will order some revive polish and see what that does. I don’t have a polisher but I’m sure I can find a good mobile detailed in my area....

I don’t have a claybar to use yet. Is that needed for hard water?

My car wash kit should be here tomorrow. I have nothing here now to use on it. A good hand wash should take care of it then if it’s soap, right?
-
I noticed this just after bringing the car home from the dealer? I’m waiting on my car wash kit to come from Adams so I ran it through the touchless with no luck. Do you think it will come off with buttery wax? I got that bc I don’t have a problem waxing once a month. I enjoy. It.
Either way, I don’t know what it is. It kind of looks like dried soap but I figured the wash would have taken care of it.

When you say paint correction, what products are you referring to? Do I need to use a polish everytime I clay the car?
-
Great video indeed!!! So if I'm using LPS and it lasts for 4-6 months, should I only clay the car when I reseal every 4-6 months? I know I ask a lot of questions but I'm excited to keep my Scat Pack looking good.

Why do you prefer the bar over the mitt? How long should each section take on average? I've only got 1600 miles on the clock right now so I dont' expect a ton of contamination but ya never know.
-
I'm probably going to use the mitt, but I've never used either.

I've been stocking up on my Adam's products and came across the clay mitt. I know clay bar is a must but I've never done it. Does anyone have tips or tricks for a first time clayer? lol

Thanks for the replies, everyone! I look forward to future washes with the Adam's products. I'm new to the line from Chemical Guys.

I've recently purchased a 2018 black ScatPack Charger. I've finally got a car that I care to keep looking clean again and have a question about what to use. Seeing as I drive the car less than others (about 800 miles a month), I plan on using Paint Sealant, Brilliant Glaze, then either Americana or Buttery Wax. I think i'm going to go with Americana because I won't hesitate to drive the car in the rain. However, the ScatPacks come with a matte finish on the spoiler. It appears to be painted and not a vinyl wrap. What would you guys recommend to use on the matte paint for protection? Thanks, Greg.

So I should wash, use Adams Hand Polish, spray prep then the ceramic spray?
