Adams will work on vinyl, but thorough buffing is critical.

If you buff it further does it improve or change at all?  It’s hard to say if it’s a glaze issue or a coating issue.

We typically use polish to remove excess coating as opposed to the brilliant glaze method. If the coating was fully cured (which I assume it was if you’re washing), I’d say this is a glaze issue.

What did it look like after washing when it looked like that?

Rewash. Buff. If that doesn’t work, I’d polish it out and reapply coating.

Should I buff by hand or machine?  SK 15mm?

  2. HELP!  I recently Ceramic coated my camaro and had some streak in places around the car.  Went with the Briallant glaze method to correct them and it worked perfectly....except on the hood!!  Attached are pics of the current state of the Matte Black Vinyl hood.  Note, it hasn't looked this bad until after my last wash...which wasn't any different to previous washes.  All Adams products used for everything.

Would you keep that same order when drying the vehicle?

Good question. All are okay to use on coated vehicle.

Ceramic Boost is especially made to build up the Ceramic Coating, so that would be my first choice.

H20 GG would be my second choice.

and Spray wax is okay to use on a CC, but it is not ideal. This would probably take away some of the water repelling effects of a coating. So that would be my last choice of the three.

  4. So I coated my 19 SS Camaro 1LE about a week ago.  I've got some streaking on a few of the panels and have corrected most of that.  Had some on the matte black hood those and having issues removing them.  Tried Brilliant Glaze and that seemed to have made it worse...any suggestions?

Also, as for the normal painted portions of the car (its black) after its first wash since the coating, what was a near perfect surface has already started to show swirls.  Any ideas there?

Thanks in advance for my first post!!
