Ceramic coating vinyl wrapped cars

I know that the bonding process isnt the same on a vinyl wrap so i know its life span is shorter, but i would assume that application is the same. Does the product being applied to vinyl rather than paint change the flash time? (Incase the vinyl makes it hard to see the chemical reation) Thank you for your time.
