  1. Only fail on CC so far are portions of the door handles. Car lives outdoors year round, snows during the winter and 90-100 degrees during the summer. Used Mothers M-tech (OK), mothers cleaner wax (OK), Meguiars clay (pretty good) and Adams clay (better). I'm thinking the clear has a haze / milky look I think is oxidation. I don't need it to win car shows, but would like to see the color better. As I said, the light is getting blocked, so the color isn't as good as protected areas like the door jambs.
  2. I see lot's of Subaru's where the clear has given up. Is this because it is so thin? If so, what is a safe approach on my son's Outback. The door jams show much more dpeth and metallic than the outside of the car. I suspect the light isn't getting through the clear coat, but since we haven't hit the car with anything, thought I would ask first.
