Because of the long hard winter, I have numerous white salt stains on my front carpets. The carpets are covered with rubber mats, but that salt still gets in! Have used the Adams carpet and Upholstery clearner with brush, but after it dries, the stains is still there. Any recommendations?!? Thanks

I have the gilmour gun, the only issue I have with it is that when I let go of the trigger, it doesn't stop for a while. It slowly comes back to a stopped position.
I probably should just put some WD40 or grease on it... hey that's a good idea.
I had the same problem with mine. WD40 and it works great!
How do you get the white salt stains out of the carpet??

Finally got the salt stains out. Presoaked area with Adams carpet cleaner and then used my hand attachment from a house carpet shampoo machine, using only the rinse cycle. Took a lot of water, but it is out!!!!
