I keep the products down the basement. The ones I use most frequently I keep in a seperate container to make it a little more convenient. All the other stuff (brushes MF towels etc) I keep in the garage.

Cleaned out my refrigerator and freezer. The rubber gaskets all around had turned white. A little elbow grease and a few squeezes of Super VRT and they're better than new. My wife was very impressed.

Something to help me reach the top and entire windshield of my SUV's. A good work platform for instance.

Detailed my new 2013 Honda Pilot. Used Americana Wax for the first time today, and WOW does it work great!! It really makes the black paint shine and it's so easy to use. Will get some pics up....to dark to get any good ones tonight.

SSR and FMP on 4 inch pads will do the trick on just about any headlight.

I think Billy Crystal and Jack Palance sang a song about tumbleweeds in City Slickers. As a city-boy myself, I also thought they only existed in Road Runner cartoons.

Went out and bought a 2013 Pilot, but cant get it until Friday...they didn't have a black one in stock. The salesman then proceeds to tell me how they are going to "detail" it. I asked him to explain. He said they wash it, put a coat of wax on it then A****-All the whole interior as well as the tires ("They're real shiny and stay that way for about a month", he says.). I told him....you do ANY of that and the deal is off!! He still can't figure out why. Guess he never sold a car to any of our Adams brothers or sisters before.

... you do anything to avoid touching the paint when closing the doors or boot after a detail.

The cologne one is great. My wife pulls into the garage and says, "I smell you detailed your car today."

....you walk through a parking lot and think to yourself how good all these would look if you could just get your hands on them.

....even your wife points cars to you that have clouded-over headlights as they pass by.

I keep hearing about all the uses for APC and believe me I've used it for loads of things around the house, too. One of these days I might even try using it on my car!!

For some reason, back in high school, I thought chemistry would be an interesting career. After a year of college, I realized I couldn't handle the math and switched to pharmacy. That was over 40 years ago. Now I'm planning on retiring from that and starting a new career in auto detailing.

Welcome, Robert. First, don't get discouraged. It usually takes a while to get things going. Also, you might have to do a few "freebies" for friends/relatives. That is great word of mouth advertising. Watch the how-to videos over and over and visit the forums often. Good luck. It's great to see a young guy with so much ambition.

Took a ride down to Reading PA (yes, the Monopoly Reading). They had a big event renaming their minor leagur baseball team from the Reading Phillies (AA affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies) to the Reading Fightin' Phils. Not a big deal, but any time I can get to a baseball park for any reason... I'm going. Plus, i did get a free hot dog out of the deal.
