Mike, I had the exact same thing happen while trying to polish out a scratch on the rambox on my truck. The rambox lids are plastic. I was using the PC with the 4" pads and SHR. I knew the scratch was deep and just held the PC, on 5, in one place too long. I freaked out. After I calmed down I spritzed the pad with DS and went over the area again with little to no pressure and it cleared it up.

My wife and I lost both of our 4 legged children this year. A golden that was 15 (died in May) and a Rottweiler that would have been 14 (died July 4). Our two legged children are wanting another one but I think we're gonna wait till next spring.

Being a 4x4 I'm thinking up with the front.

Thanks. I've got to save some cash first. I'm wanting to buy a sport hood, rims, custom floor mats, caliper covers, and a CAI. I just have to decide if I want the little stuff first or wait so I can get the big stuff sooner. My rambox covers also have a few scratches that won't buff out so they will need to be painted too.

I have got to get me one of those! Can you buy those prepainted to match? That would make it so much easier. Is it metal or fiberglass? Thanks

I posted these with my other thread (Before I get started with Adam's) Thought I'd also post in the before and after section. This is my first time using the Adam's products and they ROCK! Washed with Dawn, dried, clayed, washed with Adam's, SHR with yellow pad, SHR with orange pad, FMP with white pad, MSW with black pad. Lincoln Before Lincoln After Interior next week.
