  1. No, I that's the one polish I don't have....Revive. I got all the other ones but since I uused to have a black car, I didn't think anything by hand would come out like I wanted so only bought machine use stuff. if it's really that good, next time I order, I will try a bottle.
  2. I got a PC but I feel I'm experienced enough at polishing now after three years to move up to something with a little more power to speed up the process. Has anyone ever tried this one? http://www.harborfreight.com/6-in-57-amp-heavy-duty-dual-action-variable-speed-polisher-69924.html Not sure about buying it...and not trying to take away from the ones Adams sells but paying 775 a month for a car note plus 200 for insurance, I need to save on tools if it works just as good
  3. I have both the new stuff and the old three step stuff....I like the old stuff better so plan on trying the orange swirl remover first with a orange foam pad and if that doesn't work, using the green severe swirl remover with a orange micofiber pad. The water spots are whats so bad, the swirl marks aren't bad at all.
  4. I will post pics of it once it's done. And yeah, it is a total beast.....almost scary the power this thing has. Peels out in third without even trying to make the tires chirp if you turn of all the computer controls. It is my DD....I wouldn't buy a car like this to sit in the gararge. It cost me too much to just use it on weekends.
  5. Hey Jamey, yes, I do have a porter cable and all the colors of foam pads and a orange and white microfiber pad. Like I said, I been using Adams for a few years. That's why i asked about the old machine wax that is now called the sealant. The old formula needs a curing time and 24 hours is what I thought it needed before going over it with glaze and Americana. So, with the answers i got now, I will get everything I can do Saturday up to the machine wax and then Sunday finish it up with glaze and Americana. And thanks to everyone for the advice and compliments. It was my dream to get one of these cars and never thought I could ever afford one but funny how things can come true.
  6. I got two water spots on my carbon fiber hood insert too. It looks so fragile, I was afraid to do anything with it but since you were able to get them out, I will give it a try too.
  7. It's a used 2012 with only 13,000 miles on it. It looks great, but not up to my standards. After waxing it last weekend, I noticed water spots in the flat areas such as the trunk, spoiler, hood and trunk. The spots really showed up once Americana wax was applied so I took advantage of the memorial day sale and bought some new foam pads, a clay bar and a few other things. I had a 2010 SS and have been using Adams products since I bought that car. Anyway, any ideas and tips I might use since the car is freshly waxed and will be doing a complete detail. Clay bar, swirl remover, polish and the old style machine wax. i know the old style machine wax needs time to cure before waxing, but how long? 24hrs long enough or should I hold off waxing till next weekend? This car is way to fine to not be perfect and i want it that way. So, help me out and throw me some tips on what I should and shouldn't do to get it absolutely perfect. Thanks, Mike.
  8. It's Mardi Gras time here in New Orleans....I'm almost afraid to take the car to the parade and have to leave it blocks away.
