  1. I'm with you, lets set something up!! RP
  2. Okay, Great! Thanks guys. Hey - another excellent use for the grit gard at the bottom of the bucket when done. Place all of your sponges and brushes and let them drip dry over night. Next day dump out the water that collected in the bottom of the bucket. This way your tools don't sit in a puddle of water. Regards, Rick
  3. Hello all, Okay I've been putting my wash mitts and microfiber towels through the washing machine when I am done, but I'm not sure what to do with my detail sponges. I just wash them in the bucket and rub them on the grit gard when I'm done but with the VRT the sponges still look dirty. Should I just reserve them for use on the tires only? RickP
  4. Hey Guys, No I have not tried the APC. I've got a shopping list of supplies I need to get ready. I'll add the APC and give it a try! - I'll let you know how it works. Thanks Rick
  5. Hey Gang, I've been using the PS21 rim cleaner for a while now and really like it. I wonder if the general purpose cleaner will work as well. Anyone have any comments? Kind regards, Rick BTW I just tried the undercarriage spray - Awsome!!!
  6. I never thought about turning it down, it's set at 90 - 100 psi for shop tools. No black undercoat for my baby, I'll scuff it down in the summer and reshoot it! But you are right, it probably would have come off anyway, but still no excuse. The paint seems like it adheared poorly there. RickP
  7. Hey guys, I was drying my rims this weekend along with the cracks and tight spots with compressed air and saw what I thought was some dirt in the lower wheel well, so I blasted it with the air and to my horror a flake of paint came off. I guess I'll turn down my PSI on the compressor and maybe stay away from the rubber/plastic painted parts from now on, but I was just wondering if you have any guidelines for using copressed air to dry. I have a nice long wand with a rubber safety tip on it, I guess I have to do some painting back here now Regards Rick
