Check the swabs out for sure along with the 4" pads! then just take your time and get the wow results with metal polish 1 and 2. I have found quick sealant to work best for keeping it protected. whenever I do a detail I do all the trim and metal before moving on to the paint. no matter if it is rubber or metal trim

I have used the 4" pads ona drill with good results..just took my time and taped the areas around it off. also get great reults by hand with a microfiber aplicator. And the letter and smaller stuff is just a paint lol..They do make foam polihing swabs that are similar to the buffing pads that work great for stuff like that. Much better than a q-tip

Seems like fair pricing to me. Most customer dont think about the cost of product we spend and the price of our time. I always tell myself I wont detail for less per hour than my day job. So I always make sure to make money. I always figure my prices wont be for some people and some people wont mind because of the detailed work that I do.

I spray my glass cleaner right now the towel I do not get it soaking wet but moist then I go around the edge of the glass then hit the rest of it. After I have gone over it all once I follow up with a clean dry microfiber and buff out any streaks

The PC can get great results. I notice my flex just makes it TONS easier to get there.

I have hit my flat paint with quick sealant and it worked great.

picture? On my bike i just clean the flat black with soap and water and finish it off with detail spray to keep it looking clean and a refined finish.

When it's dirty. Cold or not.
I'm a real detailer.
It probably gets real cold down there huh?

I usually try to do about 1 wash a week on my car and the motorcycle I wash on an as needed basis.

paint brushes and toothbrushes work great for me. That and some compressed air

I use mine to clay bar as well as use it when I am drying my car. Door jambs, wheels, interior and around the house it gets used. A gallon will last me most of the detailing season so 5 or 6 good months of washing weekly.

any reason you did nto go with the in the works cutting compound as opposed to 4 passes of severe? I love the 02 and 03 WRX body. Looked for over a year to buy one but never could find a decent one

great looking car! IS that Daytona 675 I see tucked in the garage?
-
must be great having a client willing to let you keep the car long enough to get the job done right! Everyone wants perfect results in 8-10 hours lol I never get a chance to go for perfect in that time frame

What did you use as the wash media for this? Washpad or MF towel? I am very interested in a product like this for when my car is just a slight bit to dirty for waterless wash but now soiled enough for me to want to bust the buckets and hose out
