That's great news Bill.
I have a good friend who is going on about 12 years now.
Was diagnosed in his 40's with an aggessive lymphoma.
There's lot's to live and hope for.
Walked his oldest daughter down the isle last year and said "thought I'd never live to see this day".
He's the one who said to me "don't wait to aquire your dream car, you never know what's around the corner"!
I took his advice and made it work.
Great news Bill !!
Please see my signature line..

After eight years in the United States Secret Service, I made an unsuccessful run for the United States House of Representatives in 1980.
Too Bad.... Think how well he would have fit in with the rest of those "bad" detailers on Capitol Hill !!

I can't even focus on the National package. These blow-hards in Sacramento have screwed-the-pooch so badly that anything comming down from our friends in Washington will be eaten up at the State level.
Don't get me started !!! G-g-g-g-R-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-r !

Nice pix, Thanks for posting them up.
I always wandered whether you folks that show your cars ever have problem with people being careless around your cars. I think I'd be on pins and needles and all I have is my DD truck.
You know ?? I just don't worry about it. I figure that the minor stuff I can handle with my trusty Porter Cable and a brace of Adam's products, if anything "serious" happens I have insurance and a quality painter on speed dial !
Honestly, in the 4 years we have been showing this car only once did a spectator ( 6 year old ) mar the finish by jumping on the running board and hopping in the car when my back was turned.
My princess went looking for the mother. I'm real happy she didn't find her. It would NOT have been pretty !
Great pix !!!

Surprised they have the funding right now for craziness like that!? Banks got into lots of trouble on projects just like that!
Exactly !! Let's hope they realize it may not be such a good idea to build housing that few can afford BEFORE they clear the trees out !!!

She is beautiful !!
I remember being stationed at Lowery AFB during the 60's. The first time I marched to chow at sunrise for breakfast I was completly blown away by the Colorado sunrise !! I was from NJ and all we had there was Smog Rise !!!
The next morning stached a camera in my pocket and took pictures of that sunrise !!

Adam,
The folks at Konocti use the Coast to Coast and Wild Rods bodies.
They are very close to me in Upper Lake Ca, and the owner Maynard is a swell guy.
I heard a rumor that they are struggling and may close. I hope that is NOT true !!
Here is a link to them that WORKS !!!

As an FYI:
The car is based on a Coast to Coast 1938 Ford roadster body. That design was preceeded by a 1937 Ford body that sold like gang busters !
The design was enhanced by Oze Rod Shop in Canada that is producing the latest incarnation of the design on many platforms, roadsters, coupes and pickups and across th years 1937 thru 1939. I really like their coupe design with the small rear 1/4 windows.
I don't care for the front much though. Just not my cup-o-tea. I think the original design of the 37 grill, front fenders an headlights were elegant way before their time..
( that will be 2 cents please ! )
