I have a black car. I used to be a guy that believed in hand waxing. But seriously, the first time I used the PC i noticed a world of difference. Plus, you don't have to worry about burning the paint with the orbital. Trust me, a monkey could do it. It'l take a few times to get your technique down but you'll be fine and that vette will look sic as hell! Oh and don't forget to post pics!
Does this kind of shine look like a mistake?

thats a good idea but i can def c that being uncomfortable to use and if it slips or gets close to ur car it can leave a sickk scratch
You would drop that.

Let's not all comment at once now!

Came out really nice. I'd shoot myself if I had to detail that truck tho. Takes me all day with the challenger, I'd be out there all month doing that big *** pickup!

Welcome to my hell. I started a thread not too long ago with my struggle on getting perfect windows.

The first link is the video where they have fun with radio controlled cars:

The second is my personal favorite because I want one of these cars. Take a look:

I'll shoot him an email dude! Are we all supposed to chip in money to pay this guy or something? I emailed adam about all the details about doing this but he's apparently too busy to answer my emails!

Very nice.

Note the clean engine bay. APC works wonders! I had washed my car down and put on a coat of buttery wax two days prior so it was somewhat shiney. Here are some more pics:

I'll be there. Regrettably with you, however.
-
Yeah I'm not testing some flammable stuff on my car - thats all I need. I'll probably wait for In & Out Spray II to come out.
-
Lots of eastern PA members here too
Hook me up dude, lets make this work!
-
Holy Christ that is one helluva turnout! I wish it were closer, I would've loved to have been there!
-
Yes, please do! I'm not sure how many people we need for this but its definately more than 3! Once we have a decent size group we can talk dates.
-
Now that our beloved In and Out Spray has been axed by our lovely government before I purchased it, what can I use to dress up the engine bay after I clean it? VRT or something else?
-
bro, help me out a little bro.
-
i bet u cant ur the one whos gonna be polishing them
Yeah right, my wheels are a pain in the rump to clean - I can't imagine how freakin' tedious yours are gonna be.
-
Cmon, there's gotta be more people that want to have a detailing seminar that you don't have to drive 5 hours for. Let's not make me look crazy here!
-
so i got a chance to actually take the car out tonite and im pretty sure im not gonna b able to take the wheels off seeing as how the rear are 345s and also my jack doesnt clear this car...but i will def do a thorough job and take before during after pics
I can't wait!
-
yea bro but id b really careful still cause u ever seen what a non-orbital buffer can do to paint? im sure adams gonna walk u thru it though + Ill try to be there to help u buddy
Haha you'll be there to help me? Last time we worked together I had to fish a zip-tie out've my engine because of you

And you're using the Adams blue MF towel to wipe-down?
Not sure if it was the "adams brand" towel. I don't know if that would've made a huge difference tho. I need to buy more of those towels now that you reminded me!

A smaller pad will work harder on the PC due to less rotating mass, therefore allowing more pressure and more 'cutting'.
I'm a little concerned that it is being promoted as a "drill attachment" tho. In the wrong/inexperienced hands, being a 'single action' device, a lot of damage to the paintwork could be achieved.
This is a concern of mine too. Probably explains using the orbital afterwards tho.

Ok so I have 4 people who are down lol how many do we need here?
