  1. I to have this problem. I ended up doing 1/4 mile runs down the major road by my house. Blew all the ash right off. When I got back I hit my truck with my lambs wool duster then DS. I did this last night.

This morning I had to do it again ( luckily no moisture overnight ) but 2nte I see this happening. I ended up laying on a heavy coat of Buttery Wax ( no PC also :( )

Hopefully it helps. The ash has subsided alot this evening. Here's what I woke up to.. Mt truck and the wifes car I just got done spending hours working on.

PS.. I am also 35+ miles west of the fires

  2. Guys, glad you asked, and it's good to see there is interest! You may have seen the house that we filmed the last video in the garage?

That's a friend's house, and his son is a MySpace freak. He convinced me to get a page up, and then, he got a 'real-job' and went away.

So, we don't even have the login and password to edit that site! Honestly, I haven't thought of it much until this tread.

I'll have Jason get it transferred over, and dialed in. Do you thing it's a good thing to have an active MySpace page?

Thanks for your input in advance!

It'll get the Adam's name out to more people.

  3. A tune is the most important aspect of power mods. It'll allow your engine's computer (if running fuel injected instead of carb'd) to compensate for a mod that now has you running rich or lean. It can help correct timing and even change shift points on automatic transmission cars. I love seeing guys add intake, exhaust, and other simple bolt on mods hit the dyno and see a potential LOSS in power! I ask them if they've had a tune (either dyno or speed density) and they say no. Well that explains it!

I didnt lose power with the "bolt on's" but I desperatly need a tune

  4. Yes, there will be another major downturn in the aerospace industry. I think there will be some major cuts coming on the military programs. Right now though, Boeing has a very large backlog of orders for all models. I think things will be good for awhile, even though there will start to be cancellations. But, those that cancel will just make room for the other airlines to get their orders sooner.

I am a contract worker, so I expect the worst but hope for the best. I take the work when and where I can get it. I'd just prefer to be in the Seattle area, even though it does rain quite abit. Who knows, I may be back down to Texas eventually.

Your fortunate to be in the airline sector. I am in the Space and Defense sector and it's not looking to good starting April of next year.

  5. Welcome! Great to see another import in here! (I'm assuming from your Avitar that you're a Honda guy). It seems like with the exception of my Audi, a BMW, and a few Titans, this place is largely domestic iron so far. Get some of your buddies over here and let's see your rides!:cheers::cheers:

us Titan guys have been trying

  6. I spent almost 2 years in the DFW area as well. I hated it, but I was down there working after the aerospace industry took the huge crash in 2002-2004, so I was just happy to be working.

get ready for part two of that.

I've looked at many other places to live. Still just cant see myself leaving this place. The weather is to die for, that's what keeps me here.
