Venus Pro Are my fav, I have one with GWC and another with APC
This past weekend, I finally got to use some of the new items I purchased over the winter and this is how I rated them...Generac 2700 PSI Pressure Washer - LOVE IT! I bought this primarily so I could use a foam cannon but it truly makes the whole wash process easier. Easy to start and works great. IMHO worth the extra effort to set it up.
MTM Foam Cannon - LOVE IT! Simple, well constructed and works as seen in the many YouTube videos. Lots of fun.
Adam's Premium Car Wash - LOVE IT! I always loved this shampoo but was curious if it would work as well as some others advertised specifically for the foam cannons. I couldn't be happier; 2 oz mixed with warm water and the suds are unbelievable, dwell time long and Adam's shine unbeatable.
Adam's Blaster Sidekick - LOVE IT! What a great addition to my drying process. Easy to maneuver, takes no time at all to walk around the vehicle blasting out all the water in those crevices that would later haunt me. Sidekick, DS, GW and dry.
Adam's Foaming Sprayer - HATE IT! I used it with the APC and found it uses too much product, doesn't really cover or dwell any longer then the conventional sprayer.
Kwazar Mercury Pro Spray Bottle - LOVE IT! I picked one up at Detailer's Domain when Adam visited earlier this month (along with some other items). I fill it with Adam's DS and use it after a wash or in conjunction with claying. Dispenses alot of product without much effort. I'm thinking of picking up one more to fill with APC.

I used this....
Headlight Sealant, 6.5 oz. (137306)
after it was applied it didn't settle as well as I thought so I just wet sanded again and polished and Boom looked brand new. I had a write up on here somewhere but I cant find it. only problem was the resealed headlight now looked better than the other so I had to do them both.
Sorry for the late response.
chrys7, Which UV coating did you use? I used the Quick Sealant as a temporary fix. I figure that should last a few months. -
Sweet welcome to the addiction!

How did this make it easier for you in comparison to using GWC if you don't mind me asking?
Still waiting on my product to arrive and have been using solely GWC. I have used S***X before and stopped due to the smell and the fact that it doesn't seem to remove all the dust (Challenger with Brembo's dust horribly). I still had to get in there and clean them so I figured If I still have to touch the wheels to clean them may as well stick to GWC,
I really enjoyed using this product and can see myself using it a lot in the future. It just made cleaning the barrels of the wheels 10x easier.Hoping to see Gallon Deep Wheel Cleaner refills soon.E

Thanks Guys, I asked him to look into Dr Color Chip and if its not good enough think about repaint.

I live in Miami Beach, I did it once and never again. The polish did not respond well at all for me. After an hour in the sun metal was hot as heck to the touch. I ending up stopping covering and waiting till sun set.
Also if your polishing im assuming your going to Seal/wax and Americana does not like nor respond well to hot metal. Ive seen it first hand

I have a buddy of mine who got his car keyed this AM.
I asked of he could see metal in the scratch he said no
but his nail does get caught in the scratch. Is it safe to say
the clear has been compromised? Not the best pic but its what he sent me. I just don't want to do more harm than good if it beyond anything I can do. I do not feel comfy wet sanding at all.

Posted on FB, but that was truly awesome, I was in tears laughing so hard had to watch it thrice. LOL!!
-
Very nice, I did my wifes headlights i went a step further used 320/500 Dry to remove the old coating then polished and sprayed a new UV coating.
-
Oh my dam!!!
i am ready :lolsmack: -
You made a good choice, i think a lot of beginners, myself included start with a PC and eventually move up to a flex over time.

Only 2 Ferarris are in the pipe line, the F12 Berlinetta (300K) which is available and the New Enzo, which will run a cool Million as did the old Enzo.
It is a gorgeous car!The owner has his name on a list for a new Ferrari to be available possibly late this year... hmmm, wonder which one that will be... will be fun to get to see and detail that car too!
-
Dont know how this compares yet to the F12 Berlinetta or the New Enzo, but truly one of the BEST Exotics on the Road. Ferrari out did themselves with this car it is amazing!

Got it direct from presta, I just ordered the sealant and used Adams products for everything else. SHR & FMP to Polish and Detail Spray for Wet Sanding way better than just water.
One can can seal about 20 Headlights more or less
Presta Products - ReNuLite Headlight Restoration Kit
It didnt settle as well as I thought it would. Directions said wait 8 to 10 between coats. So I did, as great as it looks it could look better i think.
It pretty much cured now so this weekend im going to wet sand it with 1500/3000 again. Its not crystal clear as I think it should be. Still
where is it to where it was HUGE improvement. This is a perm solution should last 3/5 yrs. I used Megs HLR Kit on the other headlight which I think is a great kit, having said that dry/wet sanding and resealing this headlight looks 10x better than the results the Megs kit gave me.
The MEGS HLR Kit came with 2 Sanding pads 1000/3000 which is fine the other headlight looks good but as i said i wanted to completely remove the old coating and not just a layer of the old coating.
Forgot to mention, the results look very nice.I might buy that RenuLite product. Where did you order it from?
How do you like the application of it?
-
possible but i wanted to completely remove the old coating and replace it and for that i needed to stripe a layer.
320 and 500 might have been to aggressive. A flexible sanding block, and 1000-3000 grit are just fine for a restore. -
Hahaha!!!!!
you could have saved some time and just used wipe new, one wipe and it shines like new.Looks good man, nice job!
-
Last step was the sealant. Didnt come out perfect but its 99% better than where it was. Going to let it cure then hit it again with 1500 /3000 Wet sand
then SHR, FMP and see what I get. Over all very easy, took me about 40 for one headlight since this was my first time sanding them i took my time and went slow.
-
So my wife's Headlight have been starting to Yellow up and it was time to fix it.
First I cleaned it and did an IPA wipe down, then Sanded p320, 500, 800 all dry then 1500 & 3000 Wet. After that SHR hit it twice then 2 times with FMP. Did another IPA wipe down then applied headlight sealant.
here are some pics.

May I ask how this compares to WW? I mean if I need to fill buckets I may as well wash.
Its one of the reason I love WW, for light dusting just spray and wipe.
