  1. ...the old fake squad car trick. Worst thing ever.
  2. I have what looks like a scratch on the rear bumper of my 2013 Focus. I can't feel it with my nail, but its a white mark on the black unpaited area under the rear bumper. Can I use the buffer on this material? Any thoughts? VRT to just mask it maybe??
  3. How about concrete road spray?? Friends car has it on the fender liners (plasitc), trim (plastic) and fender wells (painted).....I have no clue how to get it off!
  4. Let's say I was going to go to Wal Mart to look for a good inspection tool...what should I look for? Do certian types of light work better then others (LED, Hologen, ect.) ?? Do I need to dim other lights in the work area for the inpection light to work?
  5. After trying all kinds of hand polishes, I decided to just break out the PC and see what I could get done. I used the focus pads on setting 4. First the swirl and haze remover, then the FMP. Cleared up some light holograming from the focus pads with a 5'' with FMP. Correction was not 100%...but still pretty impressive.
  6. I have some VERY bad swirls in the plastic windshield on my Kawasaki motorcycle. No doubt from before I knew what I was doing...I would wash the windshield with Windex and paper towels.... I have not had any luck cleaning them up. I have tried fine machine polish by hand with out a change. I have also tried Meguiar's PlasticX polish. Any thoughts??
  7. Yea, new product. Check under the microfiber section.
  8. I do not own the focus pads...but I'll look into it. Also, can I use FMP on the windows too??
  9. I have water stops on the windows and chrome trim on my 2012 Mazda 6. No luck getting them off....tried Adam's glass cleaner, nothing, tried rubbing alcohol...nothing. Thoughts??
  10. Here is the process I used: 1. Wash with Adam's Car Wash and a few sprays of All Purpose Cleaner to strip old wax 2. Clay using Detail spray as lubricant 3. Wash again 4. Swirl remover 5. Fine Machine Polish 6. Dress all plastics with VRT or In/Out spray 7. Wax painted surfaces with Buttery Wax I also included a few shots of the paint correction I started on my daily driver (2001 Impala).
  11. Also, I hand polished the windscreen with Fine Machine Polish. Looks much better, but needs more work.
  12. I will post more pics in a bit. Used the large pads, as I don't have the little ones. Made some areas a challenge. Wax painted surfaces with Buttery Wax
  13. Before and after pics of correction on the hard saddle bags on my 2009 Kawasaki Concourse 14…if you haven’t tried machine polishing because of a fear of damaging your paint…take a look at these. This is only my second time using my PC and Adam’s polishes.
  14. Great..thanks all, I'll try by hand.
  15. Can the paint correction pads/polishes be used to clean up a badly swirled motorcycle windscreen? It's plastic. If not...what can?
