You can also try a rubber eraser from the back of a pencil.
Really?

If that piece is plastic and has been factory painted, most likely the paint is very thin. Do not try to polsh the scratch out!
It's unpainted plastic.

I have what looks like a scratch on the rear bumper of my 2013 Focus. I can't feel it with my nail, but its a white mark on the black unpaited area under the rear bumper.
Can I use the buffer on this material? Any thoughts? VRT to just mask it maybe??

How about concrete road spray?? Friends car has it on the fender liners (plasitc), trim (plastic) and fender wells (painted).....I have no clue how to get it off!

Let's say I was going to go to Wal Mart to look for a good inspection tool...what should I look for? Do certian types of light work better then others (LED, Hologen, ect.) ?? Do I need to dim other lights in the work area for the inpection light to work?

After trying all kinds of hand polishes, I decided to just break out the PC and see what I could get done. I used the focus pads on setting 4. First the swirl and haze remover, then the FMP. Cleared up some light holograming from the focus pads with a 5'' with FMP. Correction was not 100%...but still pretty impressive.

I have some VERY bad swirls in the plastic windshield on my Kawasaki motorcycle. No doubt from before I knew what I was doing...I would wash the windshield with Windex and paper towels....
I have not had any luck cleaning them up. I have tried fine machine polish by hand with out a change. I have also tried Meguiar's PlasticX polish. Any thoughts??
