  1. Wanting to be able to get to some smaller areas, so was wondering if the 4" pads and backing plate make it compatible with the Flex polisher? Thanks.
  2. Thanks guys, appreciate the comments!!
  3. haha - I was told that many times! But I don't think that's going to happen. I use to run the Firebird a lot, but not much use for Nitrous now. I also like having it all motor....but things are never set in stone - lol Thank you very much.
  4. Very cool. Tuning was done by a local guy. Really wish I could have had TSP tune it, but just to far. Little video of the idle:
  5. LOL! The heads are a PRC stage 1 LS6 head. The cam is from Texas Speed, and is their MS4 cam 239/242 .649/.609 with a 111 LSA.
  6. Thanks Nick. Well it started as a 3.8L v6, but I pulled the motor and replaced with the 5.7L v8 LS1. After that it's got heads, decent sized cam, and few other minor things, but gas mileage went down - haha
  7. Much appreciated! Mine is a 1998, and I use to daily drive it several years back. But after a bunch of motor modifications, and some issues, that doesn't happen anymore. I still get it out when I can, and take care of it though. The 2009 Super Bee is my daily driver now.
  8. Thanks to both. Score! Replied to by the man in charge! - haha Yep, finishing my order in the morning - haha
  9. I had posted some photos of my Super Bee, so figured I'd show some of the other ride I try to keep shined up with Adam's products - haha 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7.
  10. Thanks for the comments and compliments! Much appreciated.
  11. Thanks guys! Yeah, he was a big help with getting the ride ready. Especially since there was melting snow on the roads when we took it there!
  12. Unfortunately, there isn't any dealers close to me. Really wish there was more ... hint hint Adams - haha Excellent. Thank you Nick!
  13. Sharing some pics of my Super Bee at World of Wheels. Shined up nice for a daily driver! 1. 2. 3. And my little helper getting it all ready - haha 4.
  14. Just curious if / when these will be available again. I see where you can order in a case, but what about the single brushes? I have recently bought the microfiber pads, and it shows this as needed for cleaning them. Are there alternatives to this method suggested? Thanks! http://www.adamspolishes.com/p-727-pad-cleaning-brush-case-of-12.aspx
  15. Excellent, that was quick. Thank you!
  16. Hi. Am I able to use this thread for a name change as well, or should I have another thread? I'd like to change it to Bkodger if possible. Thank you.
  17. Really appreciate all the comments. Makes the effort even more rewarding then the result - haha Nice ride man. Got any video of that thing running
  18. Appreciate the comments everyone. It was fun working through this one, and seeing the end result. Now can't wait for it to get warm again so I can take it out some more.
  19. Thanks, and it won't - haha I've got it running good, and cleaned up. I don't drive it all that much, but it'll have a cover on it from now on - haha
  20. I have a 1998 Firebird that, due to some running (modding) issues, ended up sitting for quite awhile. Bad on my part, I neglected taking care of it like I should. Although it was in the garage, dust settled, we were leaning on it to work on it, had a few times bad rains would blow into the garage when it was opened, etc. So, finally, we got it running well again, and I knew I had to get it back to looking shiny again. So I took on the challenge with Adams at my side - haha These are some pics of how it looked when pulling it out of the garage: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. So, to start, it got a bath. 6. 7. All cleaned, looks good right? 8. Until you get up close and personal! 9. 10. 11. 12. 13. 14. 15. 16. So, was time to get to work! Products used were: 1. clay bar 2. severe swirl remover 3. scratch and haze remover 4. Intensive polish To start, I used the PC (porter cable) with that process on the different panels with varying passes for each depending on how bad the surface was. I soon after bought the Flex polisher, and used same steps with the Flex to get a better work and much faster. Most of the scratches and swirls and haze removed on the hood and sides. 17. 18. 19. 20. 21. 22. 23. 24. 25. I have since put on a couple coats of sealant and wax, but have not taken final photos. Overall, very happy with the outcome and with all the Adams products I used. I will get some final close up shots and full shots of the ride to post, soon. Some side by side comparison:
