  1. Yes it is, but ill be doing his truck so it should stay like that!
  2. Mook is right! Slammed is the way to go, but it does look good!
  3. haha im glad you were as excited as i was for the Flex. Definitely happy that i didnt get the PC first
  4. Well this was my first paint correction with the Flex and all i can say is wow! This machine is amazing and the results i was able to achieve were even better! Anybody thats on the fence about getting the PC or the Flex, get the Flex you wont regret it. The truck was in pretty bad condition, it had tons of swirls and some deeper scratches. The Severe Swirl Remover wasn't working fast enough for me so i went and got *********.. All i can say is i cant wait for Adams Compound and finish to come out! It took a total of 14 hours to do just the paint correction. Im a bit of a perfectionist so i kept going and going until i was happy. And now that its done, im very happy with how it turned out!! Here it is all prepped: Paint was bad, tried my best at getting pics of it Had to wet sand some areas Making progress After, i finished late last night and im going to glaze and wax it after work so ill get better after shots Had to go over this area a few more times Thats it for now, thanks for looking. I have a nice custom truck im doing saturday and sunday so ill have a write up for that monday.
  5. Call Tony at 415-519-2432, he has the best prices ive been able to find. Hes a vendor on GmFullsize, does DJM and belltech. Those are really good brands for lowering.
  6. What about this dylan? NanoSkin Autoscrub Fine Foam Pad 6 Inch Would this be safe?
  7. That would make it look muchhh better!
  8. Yea im going to do that tonight after i get off work.
  9. Thats what i was thinking too. But ive seen all these other write ups where they only used Adams 3 polishes and it came out amazing! So im just not sure what im doing wrong
  10. So if i wanted to bring my truck up there to have a full detail/paint correction, how much would it cost me?
  11. The paint is pretty bad, yes i did strip wash and clay first
  12. I just dont understand why its taking so long, I did 2 passes of Severe Swirl and there was still quite a bit of swirls. Im brushing the pads out after every pass and im working the product long enough so i dont know
  13. Last night i started polishing with the Flex for the first time. It took me 3 hours just to get the right front fender and passenger door of a 2009 black silverado about 90% corrected. I had to do 3 passes of each polish, is this too much? Im working Severe swirl and Swirl and haze on speed 5, and Fine machine on 3. Does 3 hours sound like the right amount of time or am i taking too long, or am i doing something wrong thats not correcting it faster?
  14. I cant wait to start! 5 oclock needs to hurry up
  15. Went home for lunch and this was waiting for me at the door! Tonight is gona be a long night for me. I'm doing my friends black 2009 silverado again, except this time it will be done right! I'll have write up tomorrow
  16. Dang what happened? glad you're ok
