For the same money of a basic BMW 5 series you are getting 580 HP! It is a performance bargain! The ZL1 will beat anything under $100k around a track (except for its big brother the Corvette Z06 and depending on the track, the Nissan GTR (which will be over 100k in '14, I think)).

We just got our first ZL1 that wasn't spoken for in at Adam's perfered dealership, Purifoy Chevrolet in Fort Lupton Colorado. Adam himself purchaced our first ZL1 Convertible over the Summer. Now we have this beautiful Crystal Red ZL1 Coupe with a 6 speed manual transmission. I did get the chance to drive it and it is amazing! We also just got our first 1LE in and it is mean looking in Inferno Orange, it is one of only two so far in the state, it hasn't been PDI'ed yet but more pictures of it are to come once we take all the Adam's products to it. If you haven't had the chance, check our Car and Driver's Lightning Lap 2013 where both these cars put down impressive times at VIR. The ZL1 was the third fastest car in the group this year, only losing to the nearly $300,000 Ferrari 458 Italia and the $400,000 Lexis LFA. The real bragging rights came when the ZL1 beat the 662 HP '13 Shelby GT500 by 3 whole seconds! The 1LE was also only .9 seconds behind the Shelby and was by far the fastest in its class. There are a lot of great colors out there, what is your favorite? I'm curious what detailing hobbyists think on this subject because you are who pays the most attention to paint My favorites are GM's Jetstream Blue Metallic, Inferno Orange Metallic, and White Diamond, Mopar's Snakeskin Green and Plum Crazy, and Ford's Grabber Blue. It is also hard to beat Ferrari's Rosso Corsa and Lamborghini's Verde Ithaca. What color do you think looks best when it is all polished?

You are right, of the 46,776 Corvettes built in '78, only 3,385 of them were equiped with the four speed manual . Just 12,739 of the '78s had the L82. Silver Anniversary was the most comon paint choice though with 15,283 cars painted that color, followed by the black/silver pace car paint at 6,502. A distant third was just plain old black with 4,573 examples built. I've never seen one so beautifully clean though! JBlack is the man!

This car is beautiful! It is a 1957 Corvette with a C6 Z06 engine, modern suspension, brakes, etc. It was done by a company on the East Coast that has done cars for Sylvester Stalone, It is immaculate! Needless to say, it gets a lot of attention on our showroom floor and was covered in handprints so I broke out the Adam's today and gave it a nice cleaning. If you were wondering, the car could be yours for the low price of $190,000! I was kind of scared to even touch it but I think it turned out pretty good. Excuse my phone pictures, I need to get a nice camera. I can't believe how nice some of the pictures posted on this site look!
