  1. Thanks everyone. I am in Mount Laurel, use to live in Cherry Hill though. I will work on getting some pictures this weekend.
  2. So as the title says, new guy here from South Jersey, making my first real foray into detailing. I had done the wash and wax thing before, using Nu Finish, etc. After years of neglect on my car, I decided to get serious. First though, I decided to take care of the Wife's car. (Firm believer of happy wife, happy life!) It is new so it isn't a full correction and would give me an introduction to the basic products. I didn't think I would see as much of an improvement as I did, but these were the steps I followed: Wash Clay Quick Seal Glaze Americana Her car is black and the thing absolutely shines! Really amazing. That said, after going over every panel of the car multiple times, I can see the need for polishing next time through, even as a new car. Up next is my car which will require using a PC and a full correction. Once I get started, I will post up some before and after pics. I can't wait to see the results! Anyway, glad to be a member of the forum and I look forward to contributing as much as I can. Thanks!
  3. That engine bay is SICK! Nice job!
  4. I am getting ready to detail my very neglected car and really want to get rid of the painted on pinstripe. It is on top of the clear. Some of the stripe actually has come off already which makes me think it might buff out. I just rubbed a small test section with some paint thinner and some of the pinstripe came off instantly. Should I continue with the thinner, get a 3m wheel, try to buff it out or some other method? Thanks.
