  1. Today I had a very dirty, black Mustang Mach1 from my buddy Josh. I don't post every car I detail, but this one I feel deserves it (especially because :patriot:).

    Steps taken:

    - Strip Wash

    - Tires scrubbed down, wheels washed

    - Adam's Detailing Clay Bar with Adam's Detail Spray

    - Adam's Revive Polish

    - Sealant I don't like (because of hardness to wipe down.. it's sooooo hard but works well), and missed out on daily special Quick Sealant

    - Adam's Brilliant Glaze

    - Adam's Buttery Wax

    - Tires and front lip Super VRT'd

    - Adam's Glass Cleaner + Exterior Glass Brilliant Glaze'd

Pretty sure this is it. Now for some pictures! Enjoy!

    Here's how it started:

  2. Agreed because I feel the same as you! I realized that's exactly why I love detailing so much. I even opened my services up to others so I have more cars to do than my own. :)

I get lots of grief for it though. Especially from my dad.. He just doesn't understand that I don't mind detailing a car in this cold weather. He's so worried about either me getting sick or the hose freezing..neither has happened yet. As long as it's not precipitating, i'm detailing a car - whether it be my own or someone else's. In the summer, forget it! Apparently I wash the paint off my car according to everyone. There is also this Hyundai Santa Fe full of tool kids that drive by me all the time always making a comment.. Gotta figure out who they are soon.

  3. VERY guilty. I have two unopened bags of single-softs (4 towels total) that I won't open because I always have a chance between details to wash my current two i've been using. :D

  4. Seems a lot of companies are that way sometimes. Not Adam's of course :).

There is many horror stories that's why I'm warning you on oil type lol. I'd also look into oil pick up tube replacement from KillerB. Best rest easy insurance you can buy for the car. They're known to snap and I've seen engines go at 22k>.

  5. I can't wait. There are literally ZERO STi's around here so I never get to hear them. Its 's very few and far in between sightings. I love how the Subaru's sound when they have exhaust. Its not ricey at all but a deep rumble. It is funny people have no idea wth it is when they see it.

I have to admit this is my first turbo car much less the first Subaru so it will be a long learning road. Good thing for me is that I have a Cobb Tuning shop like 2 hours from me where I will get everything done.

I see you're in TX, so I can totally believe never seeing STI's. Whenever we take vacations to Florida, we NEVER see Subaru's, so I assume they're not around much in the drier states compared to my area. They're just so awesome in the snow.

Having guys like Cobb that close is a great advantage for you. Make sure to use them like crazy with any questions. They're a great bunch of guys. Good luck to ya! :)
