Hello everyone this is my first post/question. Have been detailing about a year now. I consider myself pretty well read on various detailing topics and have done some pretty high end cars with some good results [paint correction etc.] my question is on pad priming that is how do you prime/ By filling the pad with product so it is not dry or just lightly misting the pad with water, pad conditioner etc. and then applying a small amount of product and let the conditioner be your wetting agent? I have seen it done here [on instr. vid's] without a full product prime and just wonder when these techniques are apllicable. My concern is any dry pad contact that may produce marring of the surface if not primed correct. Perhaps product sling is an issue if not careful. i'm a little confused.
