Not too ling ago I did a paint correction on my Audi S3 using some Adams product that I've had in my arsenal for a while.  I first used Severe Swirl Remover, then Fine Machine Polish, then sealed with Machine Super Sealant, then Brilliant Glaze, then Americana Wax. Looks good, should last a while, but looking at ceramic coatings and would like to apply before winter hits. Any recommended steps I should follow prior to applying a ceramic coating?

Had a mishap with my Mustang a while back. One of the 25 year old fuel lines burst catching fire to my bay. The car was in my garage and the hood up when this happened. I was able to contain it and get it out without too much damage. I did unfortunately throw a floor rug over the bay to help keep the flames from damaging my fiberglass hood. Anyhow, looking for some advice.

1. The throw rug melted of course and left some residue onto the front bumper cover. I have not done anything to try to remove it as I was awaiting the outcome from the insurance company. It is minor, but an eyesore. I will try to get some pics of that for reference. What method shall I use to remove that crap without create too much damage?

2. The flames obviously melted anything that was rubber, plastic, etc. There is a black sooty film all over the inside of the painted fiberglass hood as well as a small section of the wiper cowl area. Again, I have not done anything as i didn't want to create any more headaches. What products and methods will work best for this cleanup?

Just stumbled upon this thread AFTER I did the same thing, it does work great!

where'd you end up getting from?

I just saw a few videos showing some of the issues the previous unit had. Guess I'll try a chemical guys one for now

Time to upgrade to a better hose end sprayer of some sort. What do you all use? What ever happened to the firehose nozzle that Adams used to carry, why was it discontinued?

Finally got its first hand wash of the year!!! Need to do a pretty full correction, but she looks like she weathered the winter pretty well...

just wanted to share that clay bar did a great job removing the tar!

Harbor Freight DA machine with all Adams products. Worked great I would say!

Thanks for the compliments. Unfortunately It rained shortly after completing the job and the wifey just had to go to the store, so i didn't get any pics of the complete car.

first two pics are the exact same spot. If you look closely you can see the drywall joints in the reflection of the ceiling. Had to turn flash off on second pic as it was just too bright to see anything!

Finally got my first Adams order and did a correction on my wifes black Lincoln. How's it look?

Keep us posted how you make out. Doesn't look at bad as my wifes black Lincoln...

silver is tough, my Volvo looks great in this pic, but there's lots of scratches 

Been lurking for a few weeks and learning. I already have a DA Polisher from HF and some *competitors* pads. I just placed my first order and am anxiously waiting to fix my wifes black Lincoln! Anyhow, I Ordered  the 3 step polish bundle, Machine Super Sealant, todays daily special with Brilliant Glaze and Americana wax, and some All Purpose Cleaner. I'll finish up the detail spray i currently have.

Now my question is regarding my DD Volvo. Its fairly well taken care of, but recently they were re doing some roads around here due to all the natural gas mining activity in my area. Anyhow, I have tons of tiny black specs which i am assuming are the tar crap they spray just prior to paving the top coat. How best to remove? 

betther look out....when it IS back in stock, it will be flying off the shelves as we are all waiting for some! I smell the next daily special!
