  1. Yes. Wash, clay then what hill said. Maybe meguiars or just order some buttery wax. If I use the APC on the tires will that bring it back to the black color? I've washed it a few times and the tires are still red from all the damn red dirt at our apartment complex.
  2. Hey guys, I was lucky enough to have a good friend let me in on his adams collection to finally correct my paint on my truck. I was given two of everything of swirl & haze remover, severe swirl remover, fine machine polish and a pc with the pads. If I remember right i begin with having the truck complete washed then clay bar it then swirl & haze remover first or serves swirl remover? This is the first time my truck will be polished and waxed correctly so any help will be much appreciated.
  3. Thanks everyone:cheers: Didn't get a chance to wash it but will later this week and post some pictures. Just curious, I'm kinda thinking of doing detailing on the side here and I don't think any of the pros here use flex or PC just hand wax. Do I have to a full time detailer or own a shop to become a authorized dealer? I'm pretty sure no one in Stillwater knows about Adams but maybe a handful of people.
  4. I figured I would share some pictures of my duramax since I bought it. I'm a big picture whore:D. When I first got it. And how it sits now. Not much besides very little stuff and cleared headlights. Bootstrap did wax a small portion on the drive side of the bed and looked awesome! The pollen here is HORRIBLE:mad: I'll post a picture of that portion when I detail it tomorrow since its cloudy today. Any suggestions are welcome. The Adam's bug is biting me so bad but I'll get some soon enough;)
  5. I will when I get back to my truck. When it rained yesterday you can easily tell where that line is where you waxed it. Still can not wait to get ahold of this stuff and set a weekend aside to wax it!
  6. Thanks mchill! Lol I'm sure this forum is big enough for two chewys!
  7. Ya you are! Ah I see well I'll probably shoot you a pm if I ever run low of something and if your in the neighborhood. Maybe a photoshoot with that TBSS you got:thumbsup: Thanks everyone!
  8. Oh wow. Just went through the pictures and looks like an awesome event! I would go down to that but I have tickets to Calf Fry that weekend so maybe next time. Are you going to the Slamboree in Tulsa?Slamboree 2013 - Home
  9. Really? That's awesome! Let me know, I would always be looking forward to car shows. Our car club is actually doing an amateur car show/can food drive this weekend.
  10. Thanks Andrew! Any chance you swing down to OKC and could detour to Stillwater and drop me off some goodies?
  11. Hello everyone! New here from Stillwater OK and have a 06 gmc duramax. I'm getting teased by my girlfriend saying I'm going to get to order some Adam's for our anniversary (which is saturday:thumbsup:) but have to be nice to her so I'm hoping after a nice dinner and a little "persuasion" I'll be ordering some Sunday if she does or not. Seen a lot of pictures of what it can do so I'm pumped on getting some! As you can tell I really need some swirl remover! Hope to get a lot of helpful tips on here!
