Body curves

I dont know how familar anybody is with grand prix's but...They have a pretty sharp curve ont he body panels int he fenders and door. My paint is perfect besides right on top of the curves. I cant seem to get the swirls out. Any suggestions on how to go about that, I am afraid of making the edges dull.

This is probably not the "right" method but here is what I do:

 

1) spray DS on the edge of the pad

2) put a dab of the product (swirl and haze, severe, etc) on four sides (north, south, east, and west)

3) use my finger to smear the product around so it doesn't sling when I turn on the PC.

4) Speed 2-4 on the PC and go at it.
