Foam lance

Just pulled the trigger on a foam lance. I have a 3200 pressure washer and noticed that it has a - and + handle near the pump. Is it safe to use this on my vehicle ? I definately do not want to damage the paint .

 

Thank you the pressure washer was given to me so I figured why not get a foam lance.

Its very safe. It adjusts how much soap/water you want to fan out.

3200 psi is a lot (I think lol) i would be careful with that.

I use a 3000 psi every weekend.. My paint hasn't peeled off. If your using the large fan tip you'll be ok. If you use the narrow fan tip then you won't have any paint left. I was trying out the different tips when I first got the pressure washer and the narrow tip took paint off my driveway. the old man wasn't to thrilled

Is there a way to adjust the psi ?

On the lance no...When your using it your not going to get high pressure as when your spraying down your car.

 

On my pressure washer there is a PSI controller valve.

I located the pressure regulator knob on my machine! Thanks everyone! Now to wait on the lance to arrive , hopefully all the attachments that I need will be included
