Grease on fender well brush bristles

I was scrubbing the fender wells on my truck last night with the 20" fender well brush and I accidentally got some grease from my control arms on the bristles. Now there's a glop of bristles all stuck together with grease.

 

Anybody know what to do to take care of cleaning this?

APC! Spray, let soak, spray again and agitate. It may take a couple of times, but it should come out.

BOOM, there it is! When it doubt APC will knock it out.

Letting it dwell is key... if you have a small container, bowl, or something fill it about 1" deep with APC and put the brush in bristles down so they can soak in the mix for awhile... it'll melt away that buildup.

I had this happen when new tires were put on. Apc wouldn't faze it.

I got that orange cleaner stuff for hands from auto zone. Most of it came off with that. Then I cut off about 1/8 inch with a razor blade.

Or you could just buy a new one... its on special for the weekend.
