Trim & Lug Nut Brush issue

I just purchased this brush from a local Adams dealer. I was excited to try it out. I started using it on my wheels with Aams Car Shampoo, and noticed, it started shedding the fiber one by one. Is this normal?

Basically normal for a new brush. Mine did the same thing for the first two times using it.

Would this be considered the "break-in" period?

 

Most of the fibers coming off were from the middle.

All brushes do this and is not exclusive to Adam's.

 

Edit: Yes break in period would be a good way of saying it. Over time the brushes stop shedding unless of course it's a cheaply made one; not an issue with Adam's stuff.

The build of the brush is really good. I can grab the fibers and the handle, and try to pull them apart, and it would no budge.
