Pad Question

Hey guys just curious I dont have a PC i have an ultimate detailing machine and it seems to work fine but my question is on pads and what pads would fit. Is there a big difference in the pads between the two machines? can i use adams pads on my machine it has a velcro plate on it now? if not can anyone recommend a good pad to use otherwise? I have the pads that came with the machine but what i want to do is have a pad specified to what product im using so i always use the same stuff on the same pad. Any help would be appreciated thanks guys. Dan the fireman

I'd wait for a more "expert" answer. I'm not familiar with your machine. However, I do slightly remember a previous answer being that the pads would fit (being velcro) but that you need to make sure they are centered. I can't say whether the centering ring will help you or not.

 

If they do fit:

Orange Pad - Swirl & Haze Remover (SHR)

White Pad - Fine Machine Polish (FMP)

Black Pad - Machine Super Wax (MSW)

 

Of course, there are some new products coming out, so those pad and product match-ups may change...

Hey Dan! Lots of users have the UDM - essentially because it's a Porter Cable 7424 clone. Screw in our Absorber Backing Plate and slap our pads on!
