covering wheels before strip wash

A few weeks ago i cleaned and seales my wheels on both sides while i had them off rotating tires and also did the tires. I still need to strip wash the whole truck so i can seal it  before winter but dont want to strip anything off the wheels and tires that are already done. Any suggestions?

pick up a roll of painters plastic at Lowes or the Depot and cut off whatever you need.Just wrap some around each tire and go to town.

Trash bags work pretty well.  Just cut a small straight line perpendicular to the opening at the top and use that cut to go over the axle as you put the bag over the top of the tire so the opening of the bag is on the ground.  Then you can tuck it under the tire on the bottom.  Does that make sense?
