Creative Idea for White Elephant Gift Exchange?

Hey errbody.  Looking for a cleaver idea for family white elephant gift exchange.  Last year I did a box-in-a-box-in-a-box gift where it could only be opened after each time it was stolen.  Thus you wouldn't know what it was until the end of the game.  Definitely livened things up but I don't want to do the same thing again.

 

This year, thinking about some idea where I start with a gift card and add a gambling aspect for each time the gift is stolen.  Can't really finish the idea so thought I'd check to see if my detailing brothers and sisters have any creative ideas.
