We recently purchased a used 2015 Keystone RV and the sides have some fading on the Filon panels. Do any of you have experience with polishing this type of material? The decals are in good shape so I plan to tape off and polish around them, it is the grey gelcoat of the trailer that is sun faded. I'm sure it was never polished or waxed by the previous owner and I would like to get the luster back.
The close up picture you can see the faded lines in the structure. I did use a pressure washer with mild soap to clean the trailer but have not tried to polish it just yet. Also sprayed the Maxima SC1 product on the rig to bring back the gloss but I know that was a temporary fix as it stays wet like WD40 and attracts dust but looks better.
