Wet foam ? Dry foam ?

So I got my ik sprayer and after unboxing and assembly I noticed I had different color nozzle tips. One for wet foam, One for dry foam, One for intermediate foam. I don’t want to assume anything about them because well you know what happens when you AssUME. Can some one break this down barney style?

Basically the different tips will yield different "thickness" of foam. The Dry foam will be thick, the intermediate will be a little thinner and the wet will be even more thin. I think the way it works is the amount of air that gets churned into the mix when spraying.

 

This also depends on what you are spraying. Some chemicals foam better than others.
