Adam's Dual-Action Foam Pad Kit

Up until now I have done all my detailing by hand. As soon as my new Porter-Cable arrives, I will be putting it to work (it includes all the foam pads with it).

 

 

Do I need to purchase another set so that I can switch while doing a vehicle or will one set be enough to do a vehicle?

Some people have a couple sets. I just have one set and it works fine for me on one vechile.

right now I just have one set, but I will certainly be getting another soon. I definitely think having two is beneficial.

One set gets the job done but two sets is better. Just incase one hits the ground or gets saturated with product, which may happen if its going to be your first time.

I will usually use about 3 orange pads and 3 white pads while doing a full correction (compounding and polishing). It just depends on how many passes you have to do. On a recent Nissan Xterra I did that was thrashed I used 5 orange pads and 3 white pads. I was routinely doing 3-4 passes over each spot though as the paint was BAD.

I agree with Brian...always nice to have an extra pad for just in case..
