all I can say is it was an absolutely miserable day for racing (humidity and temp wise) Heatsoak would be an understatement... that tied with I never ran my z06 before = bad timess !

my best run was my 2nd out of 3. 12.018

those who have driven a vette/z06 know it is mad hard to launch...well I know that as well now too ! :burnout:

You sound like a real race driver with all those excuses. lol

The trick no one tells you when drag racing a car with lots of torque and not lots of traction mods is to actually not launch the car hard. Get the car moving the best you can then give it hell. Every noob to big hp at the track makes the same mistake every time. Of course practice makes perfect. Everyone I've taught to race I tell them to take off like normal the first time then the next run add a few RPMs at lunch and keep doing that until you've found a spot where you are actually getting the car to bite hard without much slip. Everyone always does the opposite and revs the piss out of it then starts backing off on each run after that.
