Neighbor's Dodge

Spot

Recommended Posts

A few months ago, an inattentive driver ran into the side of our neighbor's new Dodge Ram. As you can see from the pictures the damage was pretty extensive. After the repair shop put the wheel back on, we jazzed up the paint with clay barring, SHR, FMP and MSW (the washing, clay bar and wax were done yesterday and today). This was one monster truck, it took several hours to wrap up everything. Here are the pics:

Today (8/13/10) we gave the Dodge another layer of MSW and followed this with a coating of Adam's Buttery Wax. It looks better than ever:

USED a PC XP for all layers:pc:

Irontree, the pickup was parked alongside the same curb in the pics showing the damage and the polishing job. Late in the evening, a medium sized van crossed the road center line and smacked the pickup on the drivers side front panel. The van bounced off and limped down the road for another 50 feet. The impact must have been at just the right angle, as the van was doing less than 35 mph. Luckily, no one was injured.
