  1. Hey Don, I would love to come out, but Louisiana is just WAY too far out for me (California). You can look up the dealer directory from adamspolishes.com and see if there is any dealers near by you and give them a call to see if they are willing to come out and do a clinic for you guys. good luck!

Good idea, I'll check it out. I knew it was inpractical, but I figured WTH, I may as well ask.

  2. :help:Is there any chance of getting a clinic for our Corvette club Show October 17 in Lafayette, Louisiana? If not on that date, Is there any chance my club (Bayou State Corvette Club) could sponsor a detailing clinic and invite all of the Car Clubs in Louisiana plus the general public?

I know we are not close to any of you guys, but we have some great car guys down here. (can't hurt to ask...)

  3. BTW, besides the PC, this is what I bought.

Dumb question; is anything essential missing?

  4. :welcomebanner: Glad you are here Don!

Any interesting photos from Angola you might care to share here?

Love to see what it's like there!

Thanks for joining our community, and please keep us posted on your results with our goods.

I might sound like a broken record, but: TAKE BEFORE, and after pictures, PLEASE!

Yes I will definitely take before and after pictures.

  5. Thanks for the warm welcome guys and gals. I have watched all of the videos, (did them last Sunday afternoon.) I will definitely review them when I get home as I am using the system.

Not sure if I have any Angola photos on this machine, but I'll dig around and see. It is not very scenic down here in Luanda, but it is nice up the coast in Cabinda where I travel for a week or so each time I am in country. Luanda is in the midst of a construction boom right now, but the streets and infrastructure are still in pretty bad shape.

  6. I just ordered a PC polisher and the Machine polishing kit. I have never used a Machine Polisher on my car, but I have tried all sorts of other polishes and waxes with mixed results. So far, I have been unable to get a really nice clear wax job on my 2007 Monterey Red Vette, so I am hoping this will be the solution. I am currently at work in Angola in Southern Africa, but I will be traveling home next weekend. I can't wait to try the system, but I am a little nervous about using the machine. Anyway, I hope I can figure all of this out, as I have spent a small fortune on hand waxes and polishes (other brands) and still have not gotten the desired results.

  7. well living out in the "boonies" has it's advantages and disadvantages and well the problem im having is the hard water from the well is leaving spots all over every time i wash my truck. I have been using the Mr. Clean Auto dry car wash, and well it does a great job and all getting most of the spots but i never get to finish with a clean spot free truck before the filter clogs up. well i wanted to know is there any way around this with out using a towl to take the spots out, cause the hard water spots are not a good thing to look at and i hate to see it when im walking up to my truck from being somewhere.

sry about the long post but heres a short version

    Hard water

mr clean auto dry car wash filter clogs up before done

    what do you do/use?

My last car was a black C5 Corvette and our community water is hard. I tried the Mr. Clean system and using a blower, but it just was not enough. I ended up getting a water softener service. Since then I have had no problems. I am not sure this is what you wanted to hear, but the softener has many other advantages. (Hence I was able to justify the expense to my wife. :)) For it example, it has helped make our drinking water and coffee taste better, keeps the dishwasher clean, and the icemaker on the refrigerator will last longer.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com<img src=" /><o:p></o:p>
