Happy Birthday Adam!

Double softs I use for removing residues of my LSP and my polish residues.
Utility towels I'd say are more for interior wipedowns and cleaning, prob could also be used to wipe windows as well because of the lower nap.

I was talking to Eric this past Saturday. He has very busy with his full-time job lately. Just send him a text the same number you tried calling.

+1 I've found a damp microfiber works best for a waterless wash and even drying. The Rinseless is much safer for cleaning because of the polymer encapsulation of dirt but leaves behind a ton of protection, it really is the best of both worlds. Even mixed 1:2 or 1:3 with distilled its going to be cheaper than Detail Spray.
Also a good tip I got from Garry Dean, if you are going to do a true waterless process (i.e. spray and wipe down), use 2 MF towels. One being damp and spritzed with your Rinseless solution (for the wiping), and then a dry towel to buff residues.
Using a dry towel for waterless cleaning is a surefire way to get some swirls.

+1 i have about 3/4 of a glalon of detail spray left and i use the rinseless wash mix more..price comparision i dont think ill get more detail spray next time..
I did the samething. Detail Spray is a great product, but I love the rinseless more.

Next time you have a hammered decon paint like that, before going to clay, leave the truck wet after the final rinse, spray the crap out of the whole car with Deep Wheel Cleaner mixed 1:1 with water (to give more hang time), will pull a ton of iron particles out of the paint and save you a ton of time when claying.
Do it in the shade and don't let it dry, after a couple mins of hang, rinse down again and you're ready to clay.
