  1. Something like goo gone/goof off would have been my guess, but I would have thought that would for sure be damaging to the color. Has anyone used these products on leather and not had it be a problem?
  2. So I just bought a second set of leather seat covers for my Mustang Bullitt. The driver seats bolstering is prone to tearing and I had an opportunity to buy an entire set for a very good price. They arrive today and I noticed that one of the rear seats has adhesive gunk leftover from what looks like packing tape. Is there a safe and effective way to remove this gunk from the leather without damaging it?
  3. I second the notions for a non-flat bill hat. I like hats that are a flex-fit style with a curved bill.
  4. I have seen you Adam's employees wearing nice looking Adam's Hats and T-shirts in videos and at shows. Are those available for purchase? Would love to show my Adam's pride at car shows.
  5. I've been detailing my Bullitt, getting it ready for winter storage, and I got to thinking... We spend so much time getting our cars ready for winter storage, but what is the best thing to do with all of our Adam's products over the winter? Would they be fine if I left them out in the garage over a cold, Michigan winter? Or should they always be stored indoors over the winter? I could put them up in my attic over the winter if they should not be kept outdoors.
  6. I was just watching the video on the new Tire and Rubber Cleaner ad Adam mentions that it's safe to use on all surfaces. Would there be any advantage to using it on the plastic/rubber portions to clean my engine compartment instead of APC? I'm getting my Bullitt ready for winter and the engine compartment is next.
  7. So I just picked up a bottle of strip wash and I'm planning on giving my 2008 Mustang Bullitt a full detail prior to storing it for winter. I want to use the strip wash to take everything off so that I can give it a nice, fresh coat of everything. Is there any value to adding any standard car shampoo into the bucket with the strip wash? Also, would there be any value to using the strip wash, then washing again with the standard shampoo?
  8. So I decided to give Buttery wax a try. I usually use the Americana Paste Wax, but Adam's had a really good deal on Buttery a few days ago, so I decided to give it a try. I'm a big fan of Brilliant Glaze and use it often. With Buttery adding a ton of shine, would there be any advantage to doing a layer of glaze and then a layer of buttery?
  9. If they're super stained already, there's probably no saving them, then?
  10. I have a few double soft towels that have seen better days. They've still hot sone life left in them, but id love to brighten them up, if possible. I (dumbly) haven't used the microfiber revitalizer, but would it do any harm to use some bleach the next time I wash them?
  11. Wow! Good to know! I'll definitely stay away from them, then.
  12. So I used blade to help dry a few cars I was working with for a video shoot and it seemed to work really well. It accounted for removing probably 75% of the water and I just hit a few problem areas with my drying clothes afterwards. I noticed Adam's doesn't offer a blade on their site. Is there any particular one you guys would recommend that works the best?
  13. I'm detailing my moms 2012 Ford Focus hatchback and I've got the entire car done save for the carpets. Her car has a set of rubber winter weather floor mats in it though, and I want to clean them as well as the carpets. What is the best way to go about getting them looking right and new but not slippery or greasy. Wouldn't want my mom getting any of that product on the brake pedal and making it slippery which could cause an accident. Any advice, guys?
  14. What is the best way to strip the wax totally off my car? I'd been told that a little bit of all-purpose cleaner in with the car shampoo during a wash will do it. Is that correct, or should I try something else?
