  1. If it ever gets too bad, I will . So far so good. Thanks Chris.
  2. Just saw this:mad:. Its rather disheartening that 1973 is back again....fortunately the corvette is its on division. The new CTS-V coupe will probably be a no go though. http://www.autoblog.com/2009/02/18/breaking-gm-disbands-high-performance-vehicle-operations/1#comments Article:
  3. No worries mate...all in good fun. BTW think Im going to get fired over my newfound internet home (joke). More time for detailing!!
  4. Yep so occasionally I have blond moments. I had the same issue once and I had somehow managed to swap VRT with S&H remover:willy: They are both white and I was really tired...needless to say that made for an oily finish and a long night. Thank god it was one of my cars....haven't made that mistake again. Its just a thought...not saying you did that but i would say its "plausible"

    Custom Helicopter!

Thats awesome. Can't help but wonder if that is DOD approved CARC paint:lol:
  7. Thanks C6Bill and Nitelord and you are very welcome Nitelord. Ive probably got 100's more that never made it off the camera....one day I will have to do that. I appreciate the sympathy... It was tough, he was only 50 and I was 24, kinda difficult times. I graduated from college about three months later and then had to come home for my two younger brothers. At that point in my life my garage was my sanctuary I spent days on end detailing cars:pc:. It helped pay the bills and kept me out of the bottle Oh and he would probably shoot me if he knew how much I have spent on Adams products!!! I believe prince might have ... But I think we might be better off trying to forget about him And you are very welcome as well.
  8. Haha there is the heckling I expected...yep tis me the alabama redneck I have almost forgot about that beer...lol. Oh and I attribute my shine to a concoction of alabama red clay, moonshine, and deer jerky.... hey don't judge me...it works:lol:
  9. These are my last pictures for awhile this resizing and uploading stuff is a pain. My chevelle was my fathers pride and joy. After my father died in an accident (about 3 years ago) I decided that I would spend some time bringing its, then, 14 year old single stage paint back to life. Then i carried it to a big car show here where his best friend joined me. Here are the only decent pictures I have from that very long and drawn out love affair. I did the entire car but only took pictures of one section from beginning to end...oh well. Same as above...very light wetsand followed with some 3M, completed with the adams arsenal. Before: In Process: Finished: The results were amazing...Ill dig around for some more later.
  10. Heres another detail. This one took about 28 hours and all I did was wetsand, buff (3m), followed by swirl and haze, fine machine polish, and wax. This paint was trashed and he was hoping to save it from being repainted. Before: In Process: After wetsand and buff but before adams (it was dawn you couldn't see spider webs very well). Final product (with dirty wheel wells :embarrassed: my excuse is it was just a wetsand and buff and I worked those 28 hours straight only stopping to eat.)
  11. She gets really attached to her cars....we just got this one last may so shes stuck with it at least for 86K more miles (from my side in case she decides not to be attached;))
  12. No idea....I guess its one that the car is stationary and the machine moves around it. I can honestly say I have never been through one (or even looked at one).... but thats what he says he does.
  13. Cool. Im up around huntsville. I have seen your truck on some truck forums. My wife has a 08 black Z71 and I wanted to black it out...then bam I found pictures of yours.
  14. Thanks for all the compliments:banana:...Ill post up some more details when I get some time.
  15. Certianly...a picture is worth a thousand words its a good thing because I am not a fan of typing
