I don't wipe anything until the IPA wipedown of the paint when done with polishing. Even then, I don't clean the windows. Those are the last thing I clean, when EVERYTHING else is done.

Your choice. You can wipe it off before you polish, but it will not hurt to leave the clay residue on either. i am in the 'remove it' camp.

I usually wipe it off glass right away, but leave it on paint. Up to you.
