  1. Call The original clear bra in Salt Lake City, Utah. You can find the online ask for Dan or Curby. They install their product on my Maserati and are great people. The will help you out... or I will cut them.lol
  2. Welcome! Great products and lots of great help here. If you have questions just ask. I'm pretty new to detailing too but have had lots of folks steer me in the right direction.
  3. Thanks Adam, Don't have this issue yet but I know its coming. But I can say from first hand experience better on the car then on your person. Seagull got me at San Diego Sea World. Not nice
  4. Sweet ride. Hard to guess. 2012 a 62 resto sold for over $400,000 and another for $300,000+. I'm guessing $223,000, but hope you get a whole lot more. Then I hope all the kids get scholarships. Just have fun!
  5. +3 I drove my Maserati from Colorado to Utah last weekend it rained and snowed and I never turned the windshield wipers on. Too bad the sealant doesn't stop rocks. Got a 13 inch crack from a rock. Can't wait to see the bill for that windshield
  6. I have used the glass cleaner on my glasses, but haven't tried the sealant. I guess I'm hesitant to with the protective coatings and plastic lenses. I will give it a try on some old ones and let you know how it turns out.
  7. Thanks for all the help. Nick I will chuck it to avoid scratches and a beating
  8. Hi all! I gave my car the full treatment last weekend. I washed, Clayed, sealed, glazed, and waxed. Today I had dust on the car and wondered if I could use the California duster to get the dust off, or should I detail spray, or rewash? I have owned this duster forever but was hesitant to use it. Thanks for you help!
  9. I quote an idiot I used to work with,"oh well you can't keep them new looking forever" ha haa haa. That was right after he had smashed a brand new truck door an hour after getting it.
  10. Thanks everyone. I appreciate all the help. Nick and Matt I will see you this summer.
  11. My wife says I have APF (Adams polish flu). Funny thing is I feels so much better when I come home to more Adams boxes on the front porch. So good that I was pulling tape and removing Americana at 1am last Saturday. That reminds me I need to order tape. So the only known cure for APF is more Adams products! Keep up the good work Adam!
  12. Nice ride and great pictures! I had a 1978 firebird I drove daily for 11 years. Loved that car. If it looked like yours I would have never let it go!

  14. That's cool Ray. I am also looking forward to the pictures. I have 2 1958 tokheims and a 1958 bennett that I have yet to start restoring. Maybe some pictures would get me motivated.
  15. Hi All. I'm fairly new to Adams polishes and have been reading the Adams forums for a while now. Just wanted to say thanks to all the Adams crew and the members of this forum. I appreciate all the help. It took me about 12 hours to wash, clay, seal, glaze, wax, clean and seal the windshield and rear window and clean the interior. I have a new appreciation of what detailers do and how much work it is. I think i over taped and about died trying to get the Americana off when I put it on too thick and let it dry. If I would have read more on the forum I would have known better. The pictures do not do the detail justice but I have attached a few. Thanks Again.
  16. Dylan, I finally got the Maserati in the garage. I have to say I got my shine on. Thanks for all your help. I have a new appreciation for what it takes to be detailer. You are an inspiration to us all and I wish only the best to you and your family. I have made some wild career changes in my life and I have to say change has been great. I know you will have a great future. Thanks again!
