  1. What is the easiest way to post a pic? Sorry...don't post pics on line much, but I wanted to share a pic of my car with everyone.
  2. Thanks for the info everyone. I appreciate it! Really liking this forum!
  3. Saw that the recommended applicator pad is the blue foam pad for the Buttery Wax, but didn't see it when looking through the available products. Which pad is the best to apply the Buttery Wax and is this best to apply by hand?
  4. Addiction is an understatement. I feel like I am on a quest for the ultimate gleam / shine.
  5. I will post pics when I am done with the whole process (hopefully sometime this weekend). The only problem now is that I am afraid to drive it as I don't want it to get dirty.
  6. Just used Quick Sealant for the first time on my wheels. Wow! I have been detailing my car since last weekend and started off washing, claying, re washing and drying using the detail spray while wiping down. I just hit the wheels with the Quick Sealant and am very excited that the car keeps looking BETTER & BETTER! I'm officially an addict! I can't wait to resume this weekend with the Polish, Sealant, Glaze and Americana combo. I can't wait to see the final results! Back to Quick Sealant...what a great product for wheels.
  7. So if I use the Paint Correcting Polish and the Paint Finishing Polish in that order, do I just follow up with Buttery Wax and then sealant? I am working on a graphite colored car with silver stripes (02 Viper ACR). Paint is nice, but it does have some swirl marks that are pretty visible. Not many significant scratches, but a few. I think I need to go full boat. I am looking for the best results possible. Don't care if I have to do 10 steps.
  8. So I recently clayed my car to the point where it looks pretty damn good without doing anything else. I am looking to get the absolute BEST shine out of this thing and so that brings me to ask a few questions here: I have some of the older products from Adam's like the Swirl & Haze Remover, Fine Machine Polish, Brilliant Glaze and Buttery Wax (New Formula). I was planning on applying these products in the order mentioned, but have since ordered some of the newer products like the Paint Correcting Polish & Paint Finishing Polish. I'm getting confused with all of the products and which should go on 1st, 2nd, 3rd. 4th, etc... What combination of the above would you all recommend and also where does Quick Sealant Spray fit into all of this? Looking forward to spending an entire weekend finishing my super shine quest. Thanks in advance for any and all replies.
  9. Very good point. Very exciting to see a product work so well though. It really pulled up a lot of contamination. Car feels smooth as glass.
  10. I used a plastic razor and glass cleaner to lubricate while removing. Seems to have done the trick. Been raining outside, so I have yet to pull it out of the garage (lighting is not great in there) to see if it is completely gone. From now on, the initial flattening of the clay will be done on a plastic bag and not the windshield. What a pain in the a$$!
  11. Fingernail...that's pretty funny. I think I'll try the plastic razor blade with glass cleaner for lube and see how that goes.
  12. I guess I should elaborate...I did clay my windshield and I did spray a liberal amount of detail spray on the windshield both when I flattened the clay and while claying, but the clay was so tacky that it left a pretty big spot on the wind shield after I flattened it initially. I tried to use additional detail spray and clay it again with no luck. I used the glass cleaner as lubricant, and again, no luck. Any other ideas to get this clay residue off my windshield? Thanks for the replies.
  13. So I spent all day today cleaning and detailing my Viper. When it came time to clay the car I watched the Adam's video to make sure I do it as recommended. So when first starting out, I flattened out the clay bar on the windshield as instructed and when doing so, it left a super sticky film even though I had a significant amount of detail spray on there. Car came out great and the clay bar removed a tone of contamination from the paint, but I can't get the sticky spot off of my windshield! Any recommendations on how I can get that sticky clay spot off my windshield? I am eager to clean and seal the glass with Adam's glass sealer. I did the other windows and they came out fantastic. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
