  1. Welcome to the forum Michael.  Nothing wrong with your ride at all. Nicely done. Glad to have you join us.

    :welcomebanner:  :welcomebanner:  :welcomebanner:

    Thanks!

Great to see your ride!  All that matters is that YOU like it!  I LOVE extremely lowered cars, but they're useless in my area, unless you like scrapping constantly.

Think of it like vinyl lettering on trucks and such.  Even without taking care of it, it lasts a LONG time.

I'd LOVE to do the roof of my GXP with black vinyl.

Thanks! And yeah thats what I like to say, but still like to preface it to people who may haven't seen it before! East of the Mississippi there is a huge lowered car scene, bigger than where I am in Colorado! When this low you'll scrape no matter what. My car is pretty useless LOL.

Wrap the roof! Its not crazy expensive to have someone do it and it looks great (kind of like the pano roofs on new cars)!

I like all cars as well.  Yours is cool bro!  I like those TL's.  I wouldn't mind having a Type S.

Thanks! This body style is my favorite.. The rare 6-speed Type-S would be sweet to have!

Some Paint Correction polish should take care of that severe hazing and get your car shining again... lol

j/k -- looks very cool. Welcome to Adam's!

Haha that would fix it  :lolsmack:  Thanks!

  2. Not into the whole hellaflush thing, but yours looks to be done on the more conservative side, which looks better!

How is the tire wear? Lol.

I have other plans for it but I just won't show you them ???? tire wear is great. While camber has a slight difference in longevity, toe is the main killer. A good alignment and I'm set!

  3. Nice! I dig your ride bro. Plasti-dip it next time!!!! (I love that stuff)

While plasti-dip is convenient, I wouldn't use it for whole car application for myself. Maybe for emblems and stuff but I'd rather do the vinyl. Lasts longer and has more protection!

  4. So I have been with Adam's for quite a few months now, but have yet to share my daily on here. But I figured now is the best time as any!

Now just a fair warning, my car is definitely not for everyone! I'm 22 and in a crazy car scene. I love all cars, though, which is why I love working here and seeing all of your guys' stuff!

My HD crashed so I don't have many pictures as of right now. It used to be silver and has been wrapped a Matte Brown Metallic (soon to change again).

    Its a 2007 Acura TL.

  5. Everyone has led you to the right places... If you're up to the work and can't wait for the attachments to arrive, then you can always use a little elbow grease, the new Cockpit Brush and the Carpet cleaner! That's how I have cleaned up mine and have been quite surprised with the results.

  6. Just got some glass sealer today, and it looks kinda cloudy, also seems like there's something that's separated at the bottom of the bottle - gets mixed after shaking but is it supposed to be that way?

It's difficult to tell from the pics online, but they do look completely clear.

Post up a pic of it! I haven't seen anything but clear on the sealers

  7. Has the in and out spray formula changed. I started a new can and it smelled different to me. It also did a lot of dripping out of the spray nozzle.

The formula has been the same for quite a bit now! If it is really acting funny and really out-of-normal then give us a call and we can probably help you out!

  8. Buttery Wax doesn't last terribly long, the MSW will give you longer lasting results. As for ease to use, Buttery wax is simple to apply easy on and easy off.  MSW ............ you have to use a machine and could take longer depending on how good you are using the machine.

I say go for the Americana.  Long lasting, great results, easy to use, and even your DD deserves to be kept looking great for as  long as it can.

The 'wax' part of MSW is a misnomer - it is really a sealant.  Since you already have on one sealant I would say go with one of the waxes.  MSS replaced MSW, but they only changed the label!

Yeah I too would go with a wax! Just another form of protection that will last quite a bit of time. The Americana are pretty freaking awesome and I'm sure you would love it and the results!

  9. Glad to hear you tested it as I imagined at 1:1 it would be similar to full strength (similar to cutting APC 1:1, it basically acts as full strength).

I'll mix up a batch of 1:2 or 1:3 "Adam's special dilution" just for giggles to see how well it works, if its laying down more protection on the final buff when compared to a 1:16 Waterless dilution I'm all about it, you guys really hit it out of the park on this product man.

I too tried it straight from the bottle a long while ago just for the heck of it and it was just how Nick described, streaky and a smurfy mess (on the hands and towels).

  10. A ladder is the safe way, but unless the car is lowered, you can just stand on the tires and hold on to a roof rail if the vehicle is equipped with them. As for polishing, that obviously wouldn't work, but washing, claying, and waxing it will.

Did a quick detail on a 2014 Jeep SRT and stood on the wheels to get the roof clayed! But as everyone else has said, a ladder or step stool will probably be able to get to the roof areas you need!

  11. You used a compound to get the swirls out of your paint and like most compounds, it left small minor marks in the clear coat because of the cut.  To get these out you need a finishing polish.  Since you came to adams website I would recommend Adams paint finishing polish http://www.adamspolishes.com/p-943-adams-paint-finishing-polish.aspx

    Hope this helps!

Revive is a cleaner polish, I would use the Paint Finishing polish to remove the haze, with a white foam pad.

Try revive on a black pad to see if it'll remove the haze since you have it already. If not, then you'll want to get a finishing polish.

I am not familiar with the M products, like mentioned before you need to step down to get rid of the cloudiness.

    PFP  will do the trick.

These guys all pointed you in the right direction! +1
